Every year, World Sight Day shines a spotlight on the importance of eye health and the need for accessible, available and affordable eye care for everyone.

Nearly everyone will experience an eye health issue in their lifetime, yet more than a billion people worldwide still lack access to the eye care services and treatments they need. World Sight Day is a reminder to #LoveYourEyes, protect our vision and recognise the importance of eye care for all.

Join Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation and our community partners for our Community Open Day on Thursday 8 October 2026 at Sydney Eye Hospital.
